Backup your New Wallet
When you launch your new wallet, you'll be prompted to complete the backup process. During the backup process you will receive your 12-word backup phrase, be sure to keep this somewhere safe. For more information on this backup phrase, check out 12-Word Backup Phrase.
After generating your backup phrase, you'll also be asked to create a standard login password.
You'll be asked to enter your self created password each time you want to log in to your Exodus wallet. To log out, you simply close the Exodus app window. Upon closing it, your assets and wallet files will remain encrypted by your password.
Welcome to your New Wallet!
That's it! Now that you've created your digital wallet, you're ready to send and receive Bitcoin.
